Quilt Preparation
- Press quilt top/backing and seams
- Trim stray threads
- Identify the head of quilt top and backing with safety pin, if you have a preference
- Quilt top and backing must be squared up
- Backing and batting must be at least 6 inches larger than quilt top in length/width
- Do not pin or baste the quilt top/batting/backing together
- Neatly fold layers seperately
- Do not serge edges
- Please do not cut scalloped edges or rounded corners until AFTER the quilting process
- Binding is attached after the quilting is completed
- Send one extra yard of fabric if binding service is requested (and unused materials will be sent back to you with your quilt)

- Place your items (quilt top, backing, batting, etc.) in a plastic bag to protect them during shipping
- Next place the plastic bag into a sturdy box with the following information:
- Name, mailing address, email address, and phone number (with area code)
- Special quilting instructions
- Method of payment
- Pattern Design (see Patterns & Thread Colors Page)
- Thread color (see Patterns & Thread Colors Page)
- Extra fabric if binding service is requested (unused fabric will be returned to you)
